How does Shahalmi Escrow Payment work? +
When you purchase wholesale items in bulk, your payment is held securely in escrow by Shahalmi. The seller is notified to package and ship your order. The funds are only released to the seller once you receive the delivery, inspect the goods, and tap "Confirm Order" inside the app.
Who covers shipping charges? +
Wholesalers set delivery fees depending on weight and volume. Standard and sample shipping charges are clearly visible on each product detail card. You can check estimated courier fees before clicking checkout.
Can I negotiate bulk prices? +
Yes! Shahalmi encourages commercial negotiation. Every product detail card contains a "Counter Offer" button. You can type in your target price per unit and bulk quantity, which the seller can approve, decline, or counter in real-time.
How do I order product samples? +
We understand the importance of quality verification. Click the "Request Sample" button on any product detail page. You can order a single sample unit at retail rate with specific sample shipping charges to verify product build and fabric quality before purchasing full carton quantities.
What is the seller commission fee? +
Shahalmi charges a flat 2.0% transaction fee on completed bulk orders. There are no startup fees, yearly renewals, or hidden hosting payments. Listing catalogs and hosting live streaming streams is free.
